"Are you gonna be okay?" Bailey asked as she walked me to the door, once I was ready to go. Brittany was still sound asleep.

"Yeah, hopefully, I'm not grounded for the rest of my life."

Bailey smiled, leaning in to kiss me on the cheek, and I smiled back at her. It almost felt like I was saying goodbye to an actual girlfriend, but then I remembered, we were still just fuck buddies. "I'll call you tonight," I said, after a moment.

"Good," Bailey nodded. "We should talk about last night anyway."

She had a point, I thought, as I climbed onto my bike...my ass still a bit sore from the previous night...and started riding as fast as I could back to my house. When I got there, I hopped off my bike and hesitated, as I stepped up to the front porch. I knew my father would be up and waiting for me to get in, and ready with a long lecture about staying out all night long with my "moron friends."

Dad was a lot like Red Forman, from That Seventies Show. I often found it a bit comical when he would get pissed because he'd remind me so much of the hardass TV show dad, that I always loved watching on that show.

I stepped in through the front door, and sure enough, there he was...sitting in his recliner and as you might imagine, he looked pissed.

"Where the fuck was you," he demanded before I even had a chance to close the door behind me. "We were up worried sick about you, all god damn night, Ryan! You had better have a really good excuse!"

"I-I know," I stammered, pressing my back to the door.

"I'm sorry, I just...lost track of time, and I ended up falling asleep and crashing at a friend's house. I should have called, I know."

"A friend's house...is it that Bailey girl?"

I bit my lip, wondering if he was putting two and two together.

"Damn it, Ryan, what are you doing staying over a girls house...I hope you're using protection, if you get that girl pregnant, I swear to God I'll kill you!"

I bit my lip even harder now, trying not to laugh at my father's cluelessness over the situation...getting Bailey pregnant? Oh, if he only knew the truth, I thought. "Sweetie, go easy on him," Jamie said entering the living room and chiming into the conversation now. "We were his age once too, remember..."
